Julie Snider (COM 07) is a writer and director with wide-ranging experience throughout the entertainment industry - from development in television and film at WONDERLAND (Charlie’s Angels, Terminator 4, Chuck, Supernatural, Human Target) to the world of selling pitches, specs, books, and life rights at PARADIGM AGENCY, to working in the writers’ rooms of CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION and USA’S FAIRLY LEGAL.
She graduated from BU with a Degree in Film and Television. At BU, she was president of the Fencing Team. She joined Shadows as a crew member on "The Agency", working on the show in a variety of roles. She directed "Salesman" and "The Captives", and also wrote "The Brotherhood"
Since graduating, Julie has lived and worked in Los Angeles. She worked with WALT DISNEY PICTURES as the writers’ assistant to a feature’s roundtable between the director, studio executives, and writers, and has also written web content for the series SUPERNATURAL. Julie is currently the Television Coordinator at the RWSG Literary Agency, which specializes in book to film and book to television deals and transitioning book authors to write for television.
Additionally, Julie produces and directs book trailers, and has directed five shorts on 16mm in addition to her two 30 minute episodes of Shadows.
